🇹🇹 ❤️ 🇹🇹 ❤️ 🇹🇹 ❤️ To The WORLD! Today's Google Doodle celebrates the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago, the steelpan. Graphic artist Nicholas Huggins @nicholashugginscreative acclaimed trumpeter Etienne Charles @etiennejazz (composer, arranger, producer) and legendary pan arranger Len “Boogsie” (composer) Sharpe @boogsiesharpe, Mick Seegobin (motion design), @lukeawalker, @castro.pg14, @josannefrancis and Billy Sheeder worked on the production for the Doodle.

The Doodle is significant today because, on July 26, 1951, the Trinidad All-Steel Pan Percussion Orchestra (TASPO) performed at the Festival of Britain. It was the first steelband to perform outside of T&T.
